Why is it that interviews with other L2 managers are more interesting, more revealing and altogether better viewing than the dumbass interviews that Parky has to face.

Wrexham’s pre and post match interviews are utter crapola, with questions as intelligent as , “how important was it to win the game”, “how much are you looking forward to tomorrow’s match” and the classic, “how important will it be to get three points”.

That Colin Henrys or whoever it is needs to up his game.

That will be the 70s side who were champions of the old third div. and
spent an few years in the second division, had some superb cup runs ,equally in Europe and pulled in some great crowds
Accrington were well fcuked and largely forgotten - he really is talking out of his arse (or he's doing it on purpose)

Coleman was from late 70s a non-league player throughout his career and of course, his non-league universe consisted more of Accrington than Wrexham.

My thoughts exactly. Other clubs have in-depth 15-20 minute interviews with their managers, while ours has a maximum of 4-5 minutes with the exact same questions every time. Is this the club's strategy to not reveal too much to the public, or is it the quality of the interviewers or both?

I watched that interview and he had a straight face when he said it. I think he was on a scouse wind-up there. They went out of the league in 66 but not sure, with the gates they are on now. In the 70s we were on gates of 15 to 20 thousand now who's the bigger club?

Still not sure it's true though!
I hadn't spotted that nuance, in the 70s or in their 70s...
I think it does amount to the same timeline though.
But as someone who is nearly 70 I do object to John Coleman calling me deluded!

On a separate note, do I spot a new chant for Saturday; Accrington Stanley - who are you?

Or, in a more violent throw-back to those glorious 70s, “Accrington get Stanleyed, everywhere they go!”
