Is it a coincidence that 3 local games, Halifax, Stockport and Accrington, with long boring overnight stays when they are just up the road, have all been followed by dreadful on pitch showings. Why not let them arrive at the racecourse Saturday morning, fire them up on the coach and turn up and do the business.

Total waste of money and unnecessarily taking many players away from their young families.

We can’t just keep having off days.
Did they stay over night for Stockport? I passed the team coach on the M56 Runcorn with what looked like players on.

I know you are disappointed just like the rest of us, but seriously none of this makes sense. The lads had a bad day at the office, even so, Mullin had two chances which he normally puts away with ease. Taken one or both of those we would have taken at least a point maybe three. First off day in 11 matches, so your last sentence makes even less sense. Move on, get it right next Saturday and everyone will be happy.

Best part of two hours on a coach interesting definition of “just up the road”. Less said about the rest the better.

On what looked like an absolute carpet of a pitch our passing / ball retention was truly awful.

Tone was set in the first 5 seconds - straight from the KO Evans plays it back to Hayden (of all people) who has the first touch of a rapist (the first of many) and then lashes it straight out of play. Knew it was gonna be one of those days at that point

Possibly a controversial opinion, but apart from the goals, have we overrated Hayden and his ability a little? His first touch today was awful and he doesn't play out all that well from the back.

Our best performances have been with two midfielders at CB.

What does “…the first touch of a rapist” even mean?

Get Luke Young back in the team ASAP. He keep us ticking over with his passing and his corners are the best we have.

Considering that our problem today was our lack of speed and we were second to every ball, bringing in slow, ponderous and sideways passing Young would be a major step backwards.
