Accrington did a job on a lacklustre Wrexham. We got drawn into a physical battle of head tennis and lost. Worst game I’ve seen all season.

Let’s just forget about it and go on the kind of run we did post Stockport

We had our chances, A very scrappy game, They worked very hard and stifled us at times, Not our day.

Worst performance for 2 seasons. Whole team were poor. Let's just put it behind us. No point pointing to anyone in particular, although we know the usual suspects will vent their agendas against their favourite targets.

Almost as if Mullin was playing his own version of the crossbar challenge today. Pen was almost petulant but he’s got to score that chance in the first half.

If we can do our 10-12 unbeaten. loss, 10-12 unbeaten, loss, etc. we will be ok.

Have to bounce back and take care of our next several matches.

If we don't have 2 proper quality wing backs on the pitch , we struggle

In physical games against big centre backs , Dalby offers nothing - we just shouldn't pick him for this games no matter how well he's done in the previous game

JD just can't play Wingback ..... neither can Macalinden ( he needs to drop out of the 22)

Hayden looks like a shadow of the player he was - all that time out with injuries have really taken their toll - his first is dreadful ( used to be so good ) and his passes usually end up going to the opposition

If you have a LWB who offers nothing going forward and doesn't offer anything defensively, you impact both our play going forward and pulling our CBs out of shape defensively

If you have a RCB who's having a poor game on the other side too , we're going to really struggle

If we're going to play long balls into the front 2 , one of them needs to be Palner NOT Dalby

I never criticise Parky , but why on earth did he persist with Dalby when it was so obvious it wasn't working

Similarly , why did he persist with JD when that was working going forward or defensively either ( that shows he's finally lost confidence in Macalinden)


WE need another CB to come in at RCB and Sadly Boyle does look like the answer at LBC either - TOC has been excellent there but he really suffered not having McLean , or Mendy outside him today ..... he'll continue to do a good job there when our WBs are back , but we need another LCB instead of Boyle .... EOC when he's fit could be the RCB

We desperately need McClean / Mendy / Barnett back ( no disrespect to Forde , he's fine , but we need 2 proper wing backs fit and available just relying on him sin't enough )


Next game- no Hayden , Start Palmer not Dalby , have Forde, Mendy & McClean in the squad , start 2 of those
