Agreed, I thought we were just the better side first half, the keeper made a good save from Lee's header, and Mullin should have buried the chance that clipped the bar and all is probably well.

Iffy penalty decision and Accrington managed the game perfectly after that, frustrating us and disjointing the game stopping us getting any momentum. The ref bought everything but it was clever from them.

I know there has been a few threads slating Tozar this season but after watching the game on Saturday I think the biggest problem with him is he kills all momentum

It was like no one else was allowed to take a quick throw in , offensively yeah chuck the ball into the box to try and get something but if someone else close by who can take a quick one and maybe put someone in then give it a go

In the first half he was taking them left and right side of pitch 5 yards from touchline , absolutely no need for him to take them , think the one time I saw someone take one and threw it to him he just launched it up the pitch

That's not Tozer individually doing it though .. that's team tactics that have been planned before the game

Yeah you are absolutely spot on there so I would say it's something that needs looked into
Football all about stats and expected goals these days , based on nothing but my own opinion I think a fast throw more likely to get you a goal than a long throw

Time for a new penalty taker. Mullin has now missed at least three which is too many. He takes great corners so I would like to see him taking a few more.

The overall average success rate of penalty kicks is around 75%. Mullin's conversion rate is around that figure for his whole career. Strikes me as very reactionary to take our best goalscorer off penalties.

What an over reaction... His success rate is high despite misses. Just finding something/anything to moan about.

Good luck to whoever tries to take the ball off Mullin next time we have one...he'll be desperate to score the next.

As an aside who is our replacement pen taker? Is it Lee? Seem to remember McClean making it look easy in a Cup game recently
