you're right , fast play generally results in more goals . The long throw has been very effective for us , but I think the key now is probably a bit of variety ( don't get me wrong , we'll still score plenty from long throws )

![]() I mean do we actually score plenty from long throws? Since the start of this season I can’t remember a single one off the top of my head. Could be maybe one or two that I’m forgetting at the moment, but that would be it. I know it worked for us in the National League, but as I’ve said before I’m with McClean on getting frustrated with its overuse. Every once in a while sure, but using it for almost every single throw in from the final third deflates momentum IMO.

If you have Hayden , Boule and Palmer in the bus when Tozer is launching a ball in , it's very difficult for the defence to cover them all . If it's just Palmer , the defenders just have to stop him , which is much easier

Tozer has had some strong performances since coming back from the break from the side

![]() Mullin will obviously stay on penalties but do think it could become a point of discussion. The way he takes them is pretty unorthodox, there's no real technique he just runs and smashes it. Will have to miss a couple more before hes hooked though you'd imagine.

The thing to remember is ( something I've often said when coaching ) , when you're the last man back , be it the central centre back , or the GK , if you find your self on your own with an opposition player baring down on goal , there's probably anything up to 10 players in front of you in your own team who haven't done their job/ have made a mistake to allow them to get to that position . You do the best job you can - any player in that position is going to get it wrong at some point Tozer makes mistakes sometimes, every player does, but he certainly breaks down many more attacks than he lets through ....other than GK, that central CB position is the most exposed position on the pitch in terms of pressure and visibility with regards to errors
