Not sure why McIlinden is the fall guy here, the dye was cast and the game lost long before he got a run in the dying minutes. Stanley got the breaks their pressing got them (plus a very dodgy pen) and we didn't function after a brief spell were we controlled things in the first half.

It is what it is. Shit game and we were done by a ridiculous pen decision and they were just bigger and stronger than us today.

I had some concerns when I saw the team. Davies is not a wingback, Dalby isn’t consistent enough ( if he has a decent game one week you can guarantee he will be poor the next) and for all his qualities Mullin still doesn’t consistently convince me away from home. But we still should have produced more than we did and when the team lacks energy like it did today there is an obvious answer - Luke Young.

None, if we need a utility player it should be a 19 year old who can fill different positions, but we don’t have that in our squad.

Go 12 games unbeaten without Luke Young and we lose one now he’s suddenly the answer lol.

It's really that simple.

Some folk are going to have to get used to the fact that we are going to lose plenty of games at this level.

Bad day at the office, which in the long run won't do us any harm.

We will be going for Armstrong in January, we need him. Dalby is just pointless, I despair every time he's in the lineup as you know he won't score. Palmer doesn't score enough either and Fletcher is an old man. Mullin isn't finding this level as easy as he did last time, he has missed a lot of chances that should be goals.

I'm not sure he is the fall guy - but the point is , most fail to see where he can play and be effective - and as such it's hard to justify his place in the 22 .... and for the system we play , we HAVE to have 2 proper wing backs on the pitch .... we've seen it time and time again , when we struggle , it's often because we only have 1 effective wing back .... as we did again today

Not sure it's that he's not finding it easy , I think it's more that he's suffering from the disruption of his injury
