I agree we will finish third, although on our day I think we could beat Swansea. I also agree midfield is the area to strengthen and a bit more strength in depth coming from the bench.

I was at the game. My daughter was playing and we are staying in Swansea for the weekend visiting my wife’s family.

Considering we were without Rosie and Keren Allen the captain and centre back I thought they did okay but I never thought they’d hang on unfortunately as the ball just kept coming back in the second half. Really missed Rosie as she always occupies a couple of defenders and makes a real nuisance of herself. Swansea deserved the win.

A bit disappointing before the game that the announcer put up the Swansea team on the big screen and named the side individually but nothing mentioned about the Wrexham girls. I felt that was poor.

It going to take time to complete at the top, Watched a few games now, Wrexham probably have 8/9 WPL standard players but they lack quality in the whole squad, Doran is stand out but they need to widen their search for quality.

I imagine that’s easier said than done. I suspect they don’t have a significant scouting operation and unless they start poaching from Cardiff and Swansea I doubt there is a huge pool of players in the league that would significantly improve the team. I also imagine the trips to south wales every 2 weeks would put off some. I suspect we are looking at incremental improvement and long term growing our own. We look comfortably the third best team in the league which to me is a good achievement in a relatively short time.

Need to get across to Liverpool the standard there is ridiculous even at park football level. Also Chester, Crewe Tranmere all have players that would improve our team.

Who for? Their first goal, our keeper (who had an excellent game) for the only time in the game made possible mistake and probably felt she should have done better. Ours Lightfoot did well their keeper pushed it away for a simple tap in. Then we sat back, we had no outlet and the result was always going to go against us. We need to defend from the front, take the pressure off the defence, Rosie does that so well and was a big miss. Still there were a lot of positives.

Its going to take time to compete and challenge for the title in the Adran Premier, but if they got top 4 in there first season back in the Welsh top flight is a huge achievement for a team that only reformed in 2018.

I don't think the answer is signing a bunch of half decent scousers. Focus on developing the young North Walian talent, taking the best players that emerge from other North Wales teams and encourage talented players back into the Welsh system.

The whole Adran Premier, North, South and u19s system is in its third season. It will grow and get stronger and soon be a better more attractive option for welsh players that tier3/ in the English pyramid.

Do the same EFL transfer windows apply in the women's game in Wales?
