Steven Vaughan Takeover?

I could be mistaken, but I thought Vaughan senior and junior are going to prison very soon for allegedly assaulting (and the rumour mill has it- blinding in one eye) a policeman at their home

As I said, this could be a complete lie but I heard from a friend who supports Chester and who usually gives decent info...if so I have 2 possible thoughts...

1) if they are going down, then it makes sense for him to invest some cash while he is away rather than letting it stagnate...if a policeman was assaulted then they'll be made an example of. The only thing putting doubt in my mind about this story is that as someone else stated, he is not a stupid man, and carrying out an assault like this seems to be the act of a classic idiot.
2) alternatively, if he goes to prison, why throw money into an investment over which he will have limited control...he won't be able to just meet with the other investors (although as I'm sure we all know phones are readily available in prison)...

Also...If Wrexham village is not for sale then what's the benefit of buying the club? If the land is protected then surely there isn't much of a cash cow to be milked here from underhand business tactics...the only way I see of making money out of this club is through building a credible and competitive club at a much higher level...which I don't believe we will ever be...

I,m a chester fan but not on here to gloat in fact i worry for you especially if vaughans involved. Yes he is banned from running a club for 10 more years but his sons are not
This may be a split and divide tactic to fracture your solidarity.....dont fall for it lads stay strong pull in the same direction and try to sing from the same sheet because if you get divided you wil be weaker.
The thing is that you may have to take steps back to take a step forward as we did but in the long run this would be better than a 'death by a thousand cuts'.

The Vaughan's go on trial in Liverpool in January - There were 3 of them involved in the assault so waht's the betting that the 3rd man will cop the blame.

Yeah it's pretty strong betting...SV's always seems to stay just on the fringe enough to avoid major problems from the authorities...

Perhaps he wants to use a cleaning company to charge £7k a week to clean the Kop? I mean, beats opening a laundery,if you get my drift...

I don't think SV would be looking to make money out of you, its how the money goes through the club that he may be more interested in.
