Not seen it mentioned, but Wales women are taking on Israel women for qualification for Euro 2013 at the Racecourse on the 20th June

Entry is free.

Qualification is going to be a stretch for them but they're currently 3 points off a playoff position, albeit having played one more game. They're pretty much guaranteed if they win their final three games though.

No it doesn't. It just doesn't recognise the right for Israel to exist. Very different things unless you're an Israeli propagandist.

Israel is a state founded by terrorism and uses terrorism and collective punishment in Gaza. I think by most reasonable definitions of the word "genocide", Israel's actions in Gaza constitute one. I think Israel should continue to exist and that a two-state solution is the only valid long-term outcome, but I think misrepresenting the position of one side or the other is unhelpful.

Realistically, Wales have to win all their remaining matches to qualify (unless Israel - who've scored more own-goals than goals - can get anything off Scotland or Ireland) starting tonight away at Ireland.
