When you live eighty miles from Wrexham and don't meet many fellow supporters around town or in the pub, you rely on media such as RP for your information about your team and club. It is for that reason that I find Rob's ideas unhelpful to the supporters, who are the club.

First post for me. I have been a supporter since 1966 (Dixie's first game at the Racecourse). I too do not understand the need to post rather than "lurk". Once you have posted for the first time, will membership expire if you don't continue to post?

Hi Vambo. My first match at the racecourse was v Exeter on 20/8/66. Check who played for Exeter that day. My memory is still quite good.

Hello. My dad first took me to see Wrexham in 1957 a few weeks after the Busby Babes visited in the FA Cup. In the sixties I attended regularly , occupying the Boys enclosure at Tech end. My favourite period was in the late 70s when the football was sublime and the ground was bouncing every week.

While I have not been an ever faithful attendee over the years I have always followed the Reds and when I retired I became a season ticket holder for the first time. This coincided with our drop in to the Conference, but this has not dulled my enthusiasm for the 50 mile round trip to see home games.

My son and I are now ever presents and last year's Wembley experiences will remain with me for ever.

Hi I first started coming in the 59-60 season with a school friend and his brother who had a car mainly to evening matches and odd Saturdays when he had one off , once I was old enough and got a car I came to all the home matches and some of the local away games. The late 70s was a great time, winning promotion to div2and playing league games against West Ham Chelsea Sunderland and the like was great and a far cry from now

Always worth remembering that this is an independent site and officially is nothing to do with the club or trust -who both have their own websites. Apart from most of its content being associated with the club and it's owners of course.
