Really appreciate RP. Living in Ruislip and being in my 70's and having supported the Reds since a boy living in Birkenhead it is a lifeline for me keeping up with the latest news and gossip. Thankyou RP
Ps I had forgotten how many miserable ,negative people live in Wrexham! Be proud ,walk tall, believe!

So, (DIR) how refreshing to read the background of new members of Red Passion. It is so easy to become stale and uninteresting (pretty certain that's me) new posters bring both enthusiasm and vitality without the baggage many of us carry.

A genuine welcome to all on this thread - COYR

Hi all, I have been ' that guy ' who regularly visits this forum to check the latest transfers rumours and I find the live thread very accurate to understand what actually is going on at away games - as BBC Wales radio is utter dogshit. Started coming down the racecourse mid to late 90s at a young age. Early memories being fixated by the noise created from the back of cop, the come on you reds hand shake/team sheet on the old score board & being a junior red playing in the morning then going down to games after. Favourite player - would have to opt for Carlos Edwards in the div 3 promotion season, just used to effortally skin every left back with ease and had a style I've never really seen since. Just hope we can bring back proper football back to town like we used to have. Addio!!

First post on here. Living unfortunately in Grimsby ( I hate Grimsby FC!) But always follow Wrexham. I think my first game was around 1959 when my dad took me, I think it was 0-0 against someone like Rochdale so not a great start. So old I was in the same class as Geoff Scott at Grove Park! Favourite players Arfon Griffiths, Eddie May, Albert Kinsey ( didn't he have a fag at half time?), David Smallman Wrexham's George Best.

Ha Ha. You're right about Albert Kinsey. My first game was against Bradford PA (won 6-0) in 1966 and I was right next to the dugout. Albert came off with an injury and the first thing he did when he sat down was to light a cigarette.

Hi all, I lived far abroad for a long time, but remember watching Wrexham games as a kid. Glad to be close to Dragon country again and follow this club even busy life doesn't give an opportunity to do it as often as i would like... C'mon the Reds!

Hi all

New to the site, so first things first to follow the rules...

- Favourite player? Since I have been going again been very impressed with Manny Smith, looks a cut above the others for me

- Fave player of all time? Used to enjoy watching Andy Fleming when he was at Wrexham, clever player

- how long you have been a fan? On and off about 9 years or so

- Whats your best moment of being a fan? Away to Burton Albion several years ago now, got beat 2-1 but fantastic following by Wrexham and was a great game.

Recently moved back into the Wrexham area, have some family history with the team as my cousins (Marc & Mike Williams) played for the clubs youth team and then first team for around a decade, used to go to games to watch them play but then moved out of Wales. Been going again since December and really enjoying being back.
