One of those who enjoyed reading Red Passion but have rarely posted.

Favourite player?
Neil Ashton - gives 100% every game and his passion for the game shows everytime he pulls the shirt on.

- Fave player of all time?
Bobby Shinton - very skillful and scored some wonderful goals when in the red shirt.

- how long you have been a fan?
First game was in season 1969-70. Must of missed no more than 30 home games since. Unfortunately don't get to as many away games as I'd like but probably do 10 a season on average.

- Whats your best moment of being a fan?
As someone else has written, the many cup upsets we have been responsible for down the years have been fantastic but I also have good memories of games such as Hereford (away) the year we won the third division title; Northampton (away) when we won promotion and Boston (home) when we stayed up.

48 yrs. Best moment. Taking my lad to The Racecourse for the first time and getting

Hello all,

I’ve also been a passive viewer of this great forum for a while now, since the demise of the BBC 606 fans site.

Living on the Sussex coast, it’s difficult to get to the Racecourse (aside from family visits “home” at Christmas) but I drag the wife along to any games south of Northampton. I did well with the FA Cup draws last year!

- Favourite player?
Neil Ashton - the most consistent, hard working and ‘genuine’ player we have – a great example to all young players (take note Pogs/Speight)

- Fave player of all time?
Hmmm very difficult. Too difficult.

- how long you have been a fan?
I was 12 when I first went to the Racecourse and my dad sat me on the old red bars next to the player’s tunnel in the Yale Paddock. I got knocked off by a stray ball as the players were warming up. I lost a tooth and it was Steve Buxton’s fault. A Racecourse debut never to forget!

- Whats your best moment of being a fan?
Gosh – Arsenal, West Ham, Real Zaragoza – maybe even the Brighton games last year? We’ve a lot to be proud of!

Hi all! like most of the posts ive usually just read posts n never commented myself. Been a wrexham fan since i were a kid from being a junior red, im now 25. Had a few favourite players over the years, marriott, psycho, fergie, beast and of course little. Looking forward to the new season hopefully this is time we dodge the play-offs and go up automatically! Or atleast avoid luton in play-offs!

Hello fellow reds,normally just read posts.been invited to say a few words by rob.favourite player at the moment has to be "beast".favourite all time player ian moir.lots of moments ,but the best so far has to be the ldv.been watching the reds since the mid sixties.lets hope for a good season ahead!
