Directions from Wrexham: Head south on the A483, A5, M54 and join the M6 at junction 10a. Leave the M6 at junction 4a and join the M42 southbound. At junction 3a join the M40 to London and continue on the M40 for 35 miles until you reach junction 1a and then join the M25 anti-clockwise at junction 16. Continue of the M25 until junction 7 where you join the M23 and at the end of the M23 take the A23 towards Brighton. After 17 miles and at the junction of the A23 and A27 turn right into Mill Road and this will take you into the Park and Ride Scheme.
Car Parking: You cannot park at the Withdeane Stadium and you should use the park and Ride Scheme on Mill Road. The scheme is free of charge and you should receive a voucher with your match ticket. The drop off point is on London Road and busses start running from 1:00pm and the last one back will be at 5:15pm.
By Train: Depart Wrexham General on 7:49 to Birmingham New Street arriving at 9:28. From there you have a few options. The simplest and the longest is to catch the 10:15 to Watford Junction and from there the 12:24 to Preston Park arriving at 14:02. Alternatively you can catch the 9:45 London Euston which arrives at 11:35 and from there you also have two options. You can then catch a tube London Victoria on the Victoria Line and from there take the 12:38 to Brighton and then the 13:38 to Preston Park arriving at 13:41. The second option from Euston would be to take a tube to Kings Cross on the Victoria Line and then the 12:24 to Preston Park arriving at 13:49. Preston Park is a 15-20 minute walk from the ground and the best advice is to follow the crowds! The only train back on the day departs Preston Park 17:02 and is unrealistic unless you want to miss the last 20 minutes. The next train departs at 18:11To Gawtick Airport and from there catch the 19:18 to Birmingham New Street and after an hour wait a there is a Bus Service that arrives in Shrewsbury at 1:41 on Sunday morning. Then your only other choice is a taxi ride home or alternatively start your train journey from Shrewsbury. Click here for the Rail Track Online Timetable.
