Directions from Wrexham: Leave Wrexham on the A484, A55 past Chester onto the M53. Leave the M53 at junction 11 heading eastbound towards Warrington on the M56. At junction 9 of the M56 join the M6 Northbound leaving ant junction 21a to join the M62 east bound towards Manchester. At Manchester the M62 becomes M60 and join the M60 North Ringroad following signs for the M62 West Yorkshire. The M60 reverts back to the M62 and continue on the M62 until it ends at junction 38 joining the A63 to Hull. The ground is clearly signposted before you reach the City Centre and you leave the A63 at the slip road before the flyover, sign posted 'Local Traffic/Infirmary' and for the KC Stadium. At the roundabout take the second exit into Rawling Way and at the next main set of lights (and with the Hospital in front of you) turn left onto the A1105 Anlaby Road. Continue over the fly over and at the foot turn right into Walton Street.
Car Parking: Following on from above a car park in Walton Street is located halfway down this street after the Sports Arena. You cannot park at the ground and local residential schemes operate in the area but the other options are: The Infirmary (£1.50 for 4 hours - 10-15 minute walk) and there are Park and Ride Schemes with home supporters signposted off the A63. Alternatively you can use any of the town centre car parks.
By Train: Nearest Train Station is Hull Paragon and is a 15 minute walk from the ground. Exit the station on the North Bus Station side and there is a signposted pedestrian route from here via St. Stephens Square, St Stephens Street, and Londesborough Street. Beer and Grub: There are a number of pubs within a few minutes of the ground with the majority designated for home supporters only. Most home fans go to pubs near the former ground - Boothferry Park - which are best avoided especially the Silver Cod pub. The ground does serve alcohol costing £2.30 for lager and £2.20 for bitter. Alternatively you can try the city centre pubs on Spring Bank and the Parkers, Bricklayers and the George can be found along Walton Avenue. If you a travelling by train then the Yorkshireman is located behind the station. |
