Directions from the South: Leave the M6 at Junction 10a turning left onto the M54. After approximately 21 miles the M54 becomes the A5. Stay on the A5 passing Shrewsbury and when you reach Oswestry turn right at the roundabout (An ESSO Service Station will be on your left), staying on the A5. At the junction of the A5 and the A483 (An McDonalds Drive Through will be on your right) go straight on at the roundabout to join the A483 signposted Wrexham. After approximately 8 miles leave the A483 at the junction of the A541 signposted Wrexham and Mold. At the roundabout turn right towards Wrexham and the ground is ahead of you on your left.

Car Parking: NEWI College just before the ground and a local car park just before the Shell Garage on the opposite side of the road and both cost around £2.00. Free parking is available on the two retail parks by turning left or right at the second roundabout but do not park in ALDI or you will get clamped!

By Train: Wrexham General is next to the ground and there is a service every two hours between Chester and Shrewsbury. There is also an hourly service between Wrexham and Liverpool. Click here for the Rail Track Online Timetable or call national enquiries on 08457 484950.

By Bus: Wrexham Bus Station is only a five minute walk from the ground but if you want to catch a bus to the ground then use a number 11, 18a or 21 bus. If you prefer to walk then turn left out of the bus station and turn right at to the end of this road. Then walk through to set of lights and the ground will be ahead of you just past Wrexham General Train Station. For enquiries call 01978 363760.

Match Build Up

Team News

Wrexham Torquay United
Injuries: Darren Ferguson is still recovering from key hole surgery and Steve Roberts is sidelined with a calf injury. Paul Whitfield and Waynne Philips are also out. Injuries: David Woozley is out after having an operation on his hand whilst top scorer David Graham and keeper Arjan van Husden are out with groin strains. Alex Russell will have a late fitness test on a hip injury and there are doubts over Kevin Wills (ankle) and Jason Fowler (stomach bug).
Suspensions: None. Suspensions: None.
Squad (17): Dibble, Rogers, Carey, Lawrence, Pejic, Bennett, C Edwards, P Edwards, Whitley, Barrett, Thomas, Morrell, Sam, Trundle, Holmes, Jones, Spender. Squad (19): Dearden, Hazell, Hankin, Woods, Douglin, Canoville, Hockley, Benefield, Stevens, Bedeau, Gritton, Kuffour, Hill, Burgess, Bond, Russell, Wills, Fowler, Corderoy.
Other News: Denis Smith has hinted that he will recall Dennis Lawrence and Hector Sam to the starting line up and the decision to play Sam throws up some selection posers. With Ferguson out Smith may opt for a third striker or may stick with two and that will mean Sam partnering Andy Morrell up front at the expense of Lee Trundle and Lee Jones. In goal will be Andy Dibble and Dennis Lawrence is recalled in defence - most likely to play alongside Brian Carey and Dan Bennett with Shaun Pejic sitting out. If Smith sticks with three in midfield then Steve Thomas will replace Darren Ferguson to team up with Paul Barrett and Jim Whitley, otherwise Steve Thomas will be on the bench. On the right wing will be Carlos Edwards with Paul Edwards occupying the left. Other News: Leroy Rosenior's plans have been hampered with the news that central defender David Woozley is out and this may force him to change formation from the 5-3-2 that has been successful in recent games. The ideal replacement is to move the versatile Lee Canoville into the defence or Rosenior could recall Sean Halkin or Tony Douglin. If he switches to a 4-4-2 then Reuben Hazell and Steve Woods are the central defenders. The midfield depends of the fitness of Kevin Wills and Jason Fowler who struggled in the draw at Bristol Rovers in midweek where striker Tony Bedeau was not 100% fit. Kevin Dearden makes his first return to the Racecourse in goal.
