Directions from the South: Leave the M6 at Junction 10a turning left onto the M54. After approximately 21 miles the M54 becomes the A5. Stay on the A5 passing Shrewsbury and when you reach Oswestry turn right at the roundabout (An ESSO Service Station will be on your left), staying on the A5. At the junction of the A5 and the A483 (An McDonalds Drive Through will be on your right) go straight on at the roundabout to join the A483 signposted Wrexham. Car Parking: NEWI College just before the ground and a local car park just before the Shell Garage on the opposite side of the road and both cost around £2.00. Other News: Despite his altercation in midweek Paul Barrett will replace Scott Green in midfield if the ex-Wigan mad does not pass a fitness test. Apart from that Denis Smith will name an unchanged team with Andy Dibble in goal with a back three of Brian Carey, Steve Roberts and Dennis Lawrence. The wide men will be Carlos Edwards and Paul Edwards with Andy Morrell and Lee Trundle up front. Darren Ferguson and Jim Whitley wait on the news of Scott green to see if Paul Barrett will join them in midfield. | Other News: Fred Murray ahs been laid low with a virus this week but should be OK. John Taylor has called up youth team full back Jonathon Heathcoate and teenage striker Lloyd Opera and has not ruled out naming himself as one of the substitutes. Alex Revell is pushing for a starting place after scoring twice for the reserves in midweek. This is a must win match for Cambridge because if they fail to collect all three points they will be eliminated from the race to secure a play off spot. |
