Match Build Up

Team News

Wrexham Lincoln City
Injuries: Andy Dibble has little chance of making the game after limping off in midweek. lee Jones did not train today after going down with a virus and there will be more news on him when he phone sin Saturday morning. Lee Trundle was involved in a car accident (click here for more details) on Friday morning and again there will be more news on him on Saturday.  Injuries: Richard Logan is unlikely to feature because of lack of match fitness but full back Stuart Brimson is out with the flu.
Suspensions: None. Suspensions: None.
Squad (19): Whitfield, Rogers, Roberts, Pejic, Bennett, Carey, Lawrence, Edwards, Edwards, Holmes, Ferguson, Whitley, Barrett, Thomas, Morrell, Jones, Trundle, Sam, Evans. Squad:
Other News: Carlos Edwards returns to right wing back after suspension with Steve Thomas dropping to the bench allowing Darren Ferguson, Jim Whitley and Paul Barrett to continue in midfield. The back three of Dan Bennett, Steve Roberts and Shaun Pejic continue with Paul Whitfield in goal. Shaun Holmes should get the nod ahead of Paul Edwards on the left but up front is where Denis Smith has problems. If Lee Jones and Lee Trundle are both out then it will be Hector Sam and Andy Morrell up front. If both players are fit then Lee Jones likely to start with Andy Morrell with Sam and Trundle on the bench. Other News: Keith Alexander's options have been improved with the news that Mark bailey has been past fit and he is the obvious choice to replace Stuart Brimson with the help of a defensive reshuffle. Alan Marriott and Peter Gain were injured during midweek but they are set to return to first team action at the Racecourse. New signing Craig Ward goes straight into the squad after signing from Leigh RMI on Friday.
Quotes
Wrexham Lincoln City
Denis Smith: “As I came into Colliers Park this morning, I was thinking how nice it was to be faced with a selection problem or two ahead of tomorrow’s game with Lincoln. Little did I know that my selection problems were to be of a different nature to the ones I expecting!” Keith Alexander: "They're a very strong side with players such as Darren Ferguson who can dominate matches in this division. It will be a difficult game for us at Wrexham and I'd like us to do a bit better than we did in the week although we won the game."
