By Bus: From the town centre route numbers K6, K4 and K44 pass Gresty Road and if heading from Chester you will have to catch the C84.
Places to Drink: The Royal Hotel on Nantwich Road is opposite the ground and does get crowded on match days. The pub is a free house and has a pool table but does have doormen on duty. The Brocklebank is on the opposite side of the station to Gresty Road on Weston Lane and is a Beefeater type pub. Doormen are also on duty here and is a typical family pub. Further down Weston lane you will find the Rockery Wood near the roundabout. This is another family pub with set menus etc. The Brunswick on Nantwich Road (located past Edleston Road on your right) is a typical football fans pub and is popular with away supporters. It is large, has an upstairs bar and big screen TV, pool table and due to its attractions gets busy on match day. The Barrel located on Nantwich Street and South Street is an American type pub which is football friendly. Opposite the Barrel is the Bank (serves Banks!) makes away fans welcome (despite the doormen) and also has Sky TV and serves food.
Places to Eat: Again not spoilt for choice with Chippy outside the ground behind the Adtranz Stand and there are variety of takeaways and kebab shops on the Nantwich Road.
Cash Machines: Train station has a selection of machines.

Injuries: Dean Ashton has recovered from a hamstring strain but fellow striker Paul Edwards is out with an ankle injury and defender Richard Walker misses out with shin problems.

Injuries: Paul Barrett is out with a thigh strain and Steve Roberts only returned to training this week and is not match fit. Denis Smith has reported no problems from the Chesterfield match

Suspensions: None.

Suspensions: None.

Squad (17): Ince, Foster, Moses, Wright, Vaughan, Rix, Brammer, Lunt, Cochrane, Robinson, Jones, McCready, Walters, Varney, Bell, Bankole, Ashton.

Squad (18): Dibble, Whitfield, Carey, Pejic, Lawrence, Morgan, Edwards, Edwards, Holmes, Ferguson, Thomas, Whitley, Crowell, Jones, Jones, Sam, Llewellyn, Armstrong.

Other News: With Dean Ashton back from injury he is set to lead the Crewe attack alongside Steve James and that will mean James Robinson dropping down to the bench. Elsewhere, Dario Gradi will name an unchanged side and that will mean Clayton Ince, who Brian Flynn almost signed for £50,000 from Crewe three years ago, playing against his Trinidaian team mates. Another familiar face will be Dave Brammer who is now Crewe captain after his £500,000 move from Port Vale. On loan striker Jonathon Walters is unavailable as Bolton do not want him cup tied.

Other News: With no injury problems from the weekend Denis Smith has said he will start with the same eleven who faced Chesterfield. Andy Dibble is in goal with a back three of Shaun Pejic, Brian Carey and Dennis Lawrence. In midfield will be Jim Whitley, Darren Ferguson and Steve Thomas with Carlos and Paul Edwards at wing backs. Up front the new strike partnership of Chris Llewellyn and Chris Armstrong get another chance but expect Armstrong to be replaced in the second half by Lee Jones if his fitness levels drop off.
