MATCH BUILDUP
TEAM NEWS
Queens Park Rangers Wrexham
Injuries: Chris Day (shin), Nick Culkin (knee) are Gino Padula (fractured toe) are ruled out. The match also comes too soon for Richard Edghill and Gareth Aisnworth. Injuries: Andy Dibble after having an operation on his broken arm against Peterborough.
Suspensions: None. Suspensions: None.
Last starting lineup: Camp, Rose, Gnohere, Carlisle, Forbes, Bircham, Johnson, Rowlands, McLeod, Furlong, Gallen. Subs: Cureton, Palmer, Thorpe, Pacquette, Bean. Squad (19): Ingham, Whitfield, Roberts, Carey, Lawrence, Morgan, Pejic, Holmes, C Edwards, P Edwards, Ferguson, Whitley, Crowell, Barrett, Thomas, Armstrong, Llewellyn, Sam, L Jones.
Other News: Lee Camp made his debut in goal at Hartlepool to ease the keeping crisis at Loftus Road and following the emphatic win in the North East then the same outfield ten are certain starters. The only selection dilemma for Ian Holloway is who partners Kevin Gallen up front after Paul Furlong impressed on the weekend but Tony Thorpe is pushing for a place. Marcus Bean is available after playing for the reserves last week but Eric Soban joined third division Northampton Town on a free transfer last week. Other News: Martin Ingham will make his debut for Wrexham as a replacement for Andy Dibble in goal after he joined on loan from Sunderland in time for the match. With Steve Roberts and Brian Carey back from suspension they will get a instant recall to the defence to play alongside Dennis Lawrence. Shaun Pejic will most likely keep a place on the bench with Craig Morgan out of the squad all together. After conceding six goals in consecutive away games Denis Smith may go for the more defensive option of Paul Barrett in midfield to play alongside Darren Ferguson and Jim Whitley with Matt Crowell dropping to the bench. Carlos Edwards and Paul Edwards will keep their positions on the flanks but do not be too surprised if there are changes up front. Chris Armstrong and Chris Llewellyn started against Peterborough but Hector Sam and Lee Jones are again included in the squad as alternatives.
REF WATCH WEATHER
The match referee is Steve Tomlin of Lews and he is assisted by Jon Beadle of Kent and Gary Young of Bedfordshire. Steve Tomlin has refereed 26 games this season and has issued 84 yellow cards, at an average of 3.23 per game, and 5 red cards. Clear skies with a minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius. South westerly wind direction with a max speed of 10 mph. Moderate visibility with a relative humidity of 68%.
