TRAVEL GUIDE

For your comprehensive guide to visiting Wrexham see RP's Racecourse Essentials
Directions from the North: Leave the M6 at Junction 20a to join the M56 towards Chester and then onto the M53 towards Chester and Wrexham at junction 15. Follow the M53 onto the A55 leaving at junction 35 turning left onto the A483 to Wrexham. Leave the A483 at the junction of A541 turning right towards Wrexham Town Centre. The Racecourse will be straight ahead over the next roundabout.
Directions from the South: Leave the M6 at Junction 10a turning left onto the M54. After approximately 21 miles the M54 becomes the A5. Stay on the A5 passing Shrewsbury and when you reach Oswestry turn right at the roundabout (An ESSO Service Station will be on your left), staying on the A5. At the junction of the A5 and the A483 (An McDonalds Drive Through will be on your right) go straight on at the roundabout to join the A483 signposted Wrexham. After approximately 8 miles leave the A483 at the junction of the A541 signposted Wrexham and Mold. At the roundabout turn right towards Wrexham and the ground is ahead of you on your left.
Alternative Route from M6 J16 and Stoke via Crewe: Head towards Crewe on the A500 for approximately 9 miles, then onto the A51 for approximately 1.5 miles, and finally onto the A534. After approximately 5.5 miles at the junction of the A49 head onto the A49 for 350 yards and back onto the A534 towards Wrexham. After approximately 13 miles you have two options at the roundabout at the junction of the A5156. You can stay on the A534 and head towards Wrexham Town Centre but the easiest option is to turn right onto the A5156 for approximately 2 miles. At the roundabout leave at the second exit to join the A483. Leave the A483 at the next exit after approximately 1.5 miles, which is the junction of the A541 signposted Wrexham and Mold. Take the first left at the roundabout and the ground is head of you on your left.

TEAM NEWS
Wrexham Plymouth Argyle
Injuries: Chris Armstrong is still out and Paul Barrett joins him on the sidelines after he strained a muscle playing for the reserves. Injuries: Goalkeeper Romain Larrieu is out with a knee injury and Martin Phillips has only just returned to training following a pelvis injury. David Friio will face a fitness test along with Bent.
Suspensions: None. Suspensions: None.
Squad (19): Dibble, Whitfield, Carey, Lawrence, Pejic, Morgan, P Edwards, C Edwards, Holmes, Thomas, Ferguson, Whitley, Sam, Jones, Llewellyn, One, Crowell, Jones, Roberts. Squad (18): McCormick, Worrell, Wotton, Coughlan, Gilbert, Norris, Friio, Adams, Bent, Capaldi, Stonebridge, Evans,  Sturrock, Hodges, Beresford,
Aljofree, Connolly, Lowndes.
Other News: Dennis was happy the way his team created chances against QPR and therefore don't expect many changes, if any, to the starting eleven. The good news for Wrexham is that Steve Roberts is back in the squad for the first time this season but is unlikely to make the starting eleven but may force Craig Morgan off the bench. Wrexham are likely to line up with Andy Dibble in goal and in front of him a back three of Shaun Pejic, Brian Carey and Dennis Lawrence. In midfield will be Darren Ferguson and Jim Whitley with Carlos Edwards and Paul Edwards providing the width on the flanks. Chris Llewellyn will link the midfield and the attack, comprising of Armand One and Lee Jones. Other News: Paul Sturruck has been thwarted in his efforts to sign a goalkeeper and that means Lee MCormick continues in goal in the absence of Romain Larrieu who is due to see a specialist next week to determine the extent of his knee ligament injury. Sturruck did capture the signature of Congolese international defender Eugene Kangulungu and despite Martin Philips back from injury, Plymouth are set to name an unchanged side for the visit to the Racecourse.
