MATCH BUILDUP
TEAM NEWS
Wrexham Oldham Athletic
Injuries: Brian Carey is definitely out with the mystery virus that has hit some of the squad whilst a doubt hangs over Darren Ferguson for the same reason. Chris Armstrong is still not 100% fit and will not be risked. Injuries: Oldham are likely to be without Mark Hudson and David Eyres as both players picked up knocks during the weekend defeat at Tranmere.
Suspensions: None. Suspensions: None.
Squad (17): Dibble, Whitfield, Pejic, Morgan, Roberts, Lawrence, P Edwards, C Edwards, Thomas, Crowell, Barrett, Whitley, M Jones, L Jones, Llewellyn, Sam, Ferguson. Squad (21): Pogliacomi, Clegg, Holden, Beharall, Hall, Eyre, Murray, J Sheridan, Cooksey, Zola, Killen, Vernon, Grange, D Sheridan, O'Halloran, Boshell, Tierney, Roca, Haining, Hudson, Eyres.
Other News: Craig Morgan will replace the injured Brian Carey in defence and Paul Barrett of Steve Thomas are on standby to replace Darren Ferguson if he does not recover in time. Elsewhere it is unchanged for Wrexham with Andy Dibble in goal and a back three of Steve Roberts, Dennis Lawrence and Craig Morgan. In midfield Jim Whitley will be partnered by Ferguson, Barrett or Thomas (probably in that order) and Carlos and Paul Edwards will provide the width on the flanks. Chris Llewellyn again acts as support man for Hector Sam and Lee Jones. Other News: Ernie Cooksey is set to replace David Eyres on the left wing whilst David Beharall will come in at the back for Mark Hudson. Chris Killen spent some time at Wrexham on loan and scored against Oldham at the Racecourse is back after serving a suspension and he is likely to be recalled to the starting eleven alongside Scott Vernon and Calvin Zola. Will Haining is also in the squad as cover  because Oldham are short on defenders.
