MATCH BUILDUP
TEAM NEWS
Brentford Wrexham
Injuries: Michael Dobson is rated 50-50 with a back strain that forced him to sit out the goalless draw at Peterborough last weekend. Matt Arnold and Eddie Hutchinson have recovered from their respective groin and ankle injuries but are only in light training and are therefore not match fit. Injuries: Lee Jones and Shaun Pejic are the only absentees with hamstring injuries after hector Sam rejoined the squad after recovering from having stitches in an ankle wound.
Suspensions: Leo Roget and Stephen Evans. Suspensions: None.
Last starting line up: D Smith, Bull, Evans, Hunt, Sonko, J Smith, Frampton, Somner, May, Wright, Rougier. Subs: Tabb, Viander, O'Connor, Peters, Hughes. Squad (18): Dibble, Whitfield, Roberts, Carey, Lawrence, Morgan, C Edwards, P Edwards, Holmes, Ferguson, Whitley, Barrett, Thomas, Crowell, Llewellyn, Armstrong, M Jones, Sam.
Other News: Joel Kitmirike is available after completing his suspension. Other News: With no injury worries from the midweek win at Grimsby, expect Denis Smith to name an unchanged starting line up for the visit to Brentford. That means Andy Dibble will start in goal and in front of him there will be a back three of Steve Roberts, Brian Carey and Dennis Lawrence. Further up field the midfield will comprise of Jim Whitley, Darren Ferguson and Steve Thomas. Carlos and Paul Edwards will provide the width on the flanks for the strike force of Chris Armstrong and Chris Llewellyn. Expect hector Sam to take the final place on the bench ahead of Mark Jones.
Referee Weather
The match referee is Paul Armstrong of Thatcham (Berkshire) and he is assisted by John Flynn of Wiltshire and David Phillips of Sussex.
