TRAVEL GUIDE

Directions from Wrexham: Head south from Wrexham on the A483, A5 past Shrewsbury onto the M54. At the end of the M54 join the M6 southbound at junction 10a past Birmingham leaving at junction 8 to join the M5 southbound. At junction 4a of the M5 branch left to join the M42 and at junction 3a of the M42 keep forward to join the M40 towards Oxford until junction 9. After leaving at junction 9 turn right onto the A34 towards Oxford and Newbury and after 8 miles you will come to a roundabout linking the A34 with the M4 and from here continue heading in a a southerly direction on the A34 towards Newbury. You will eventually come to the end of the A34 and from here take the third exit at the roundabout to join the M3 southbound towards Southampton. At junction 14 of the M3 head westbound take left hand lanes to join the M27 until it ends where you pick up the A31 towards Ringwood. After 11 miles on the A31 you come to the junction with the A338 and from here branch left and then take the first exit at the roundabout to join the A338 and this is the main road into Bournemouth. Carry straight over the Cooper Dean flyover (just after the Welcome to Bournemouth sign and it has a leisure centre with a large grass area and a glass building on your left) and take left hand lanes to leave at the next slip road to Kings Park where you will now see signs for the football ground. At the mini roundabout go straight on leaving at the second exit into King's Park and the ground. Total Distance = 241 miles, Time = 5 hours.

Car Parking: There is a council pay and display car park just beyond the ground at King's Park but it does take a while to get out after the match. The other alternative is street parking but be warned that different restrictions apply to different streets. Streets near the ground are a no go area as they are coned off
By Train: Nearest station is Pokesdown although sometimes train will just continue to Bournemouth Central. From Pokesdown station turn right and walk towards Boscombe and then take your third right into Gloucester Road and this leads you into Kings Park. Bournemouth Central is a mile away from the ground so a cab may be your best bet. If you want to walk then turn left out of the station and walk up the main road taking a left by ASDA and walk past the petrol station and Staples. Straight over the roundabout and keep going along Holdenhurst Road for a mile. At the traffic lights with the Queens Park Pub continue straight on and at the next roundabout turn right into Kings Park.

MATCH BUILDUP
TEAM NEWS

Bournemouth

Wrexham
Injuries: Karl Broadhurst misses his second successive game after being informed he will have to see an eye specialist on Wednesday as he is still suffering from concussion. Injuries: Paul Edwards has been ruled out with a hamstring injury sustained at Bristol City on the weekend.
Suspensions: None. Suspensions: None.
Squad (17): Moss, Purches, Browning, Maher, C Fletcher, Feeney, S Fletcher, Elliott, Buxton, Cummings, Jorgensen, Stock, O'Connor, Tindall, Williams, Holmes, Hayter. Squad (16): Dibble, Whitfield, Carey, Lawrence, Roberts, Morgan, C Edwards, Holmes, Thomas, Ferguson, Whitley, Barrett, Llewellyn, Armstrong, Sam, L Jones.
Other News: James Hayter is back in the squad after missing the weekend match as he became a father for the first time on the morning of the Brighton match. Manager Sean O'Driscoll is also confident that on loan midfielder Claus Jorgensen will have his spell at Dean Cort extended by a further month in time for him to play Tuesday evening. The Cherries will also have the services of on loan Wales Under 21 striker Gareth Williams, who scored six goals in six games last season for Colchester whilst on loan from his club Crystal Palace. Other News: With Paul Edwards ruled out on the left Shaun Holmes is expected to be recalled to the starting line-up but that may not be the only change after the disappointing display at Bristol City. Andy Dibble will continue in goal along with the back three of Steve Roberts, Brian Carey and Dennis Lawrence. Any changes will come in midfield or up front with Denis Smith having options for each position on the bench. Jim Whitley and Darren Ferguson are certain starters but with Steve Thomas substituted in recent games do not be surprised if Paul Barrett is preferred instead. Up front Lee Jones and Hector Sam will be putting pressure on Chris Llewellyn and Chris Armstrong with Llewellyn an alternative for a place in attacking midfield. Carlos Edwards will take his usual spot on the right wing.
REF WATCH WEATHER
The match referee is Lee Probert of South Gloucestershire and he is assisted by Eric Mackrell of Hampshire and Irvine Woodward of East Sussex. Lee Probert has refereed 19 games this season and has issued 63 yellow cards, at an average of 3.32 per game, and 4 red cards. Light rain with a minimum temperature of 0 degrees Celsius. Westerly wind direction with a max speed of 8 mph. Poor visibility with a relative humidity of 72%.
