TRAVEL GUIDE

WARNING: The A483 is a notorious speed trap for the police and there is a speed camera when you reach the ground - so keep your speed below 30 mph.
For your comprehensive guide to visiting Wrexham see RP's Racecourse Essentials
From the South: Follow the A5 from Shrewsbury to North Wales and when you reach Oswestry turn right at the roundabout (An ESSO Service Station will be on your left), staying on the A5. At the junction of the A5 and the A483 (An McDonalds Drive Through will be on your right) go straight on at the roundabout to join the A483 signposted Wrexham. After approximately 8 miles leave the A483 at the junction of the A541 signposted Wrexham and Mold. At the roundabout turn right towards Wrexham and after going straight over the next roundabout the ground is ahead of you on your left.

MATCH BUILDUP

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The match will be played to a finish on the night with the aid of extra time and penalties if required. The winners will play either Swansea City or Rhyl in the final after their semi-final match on April 7.
TEAM NEWS
Wrexham Cardiff City
Injuries: Shaun Pejic (calf), Hector Sam (knee ligaments) and Jim Whitley (hamstring) have been ruled out by Denis Smith, whilst Andy Dibble is out for the season. Injuries: Peter Thorne has is foot in plaster and is out until Easter and Rhys Weston misses out after he has just returned to training following a knee injury. Graham Kavanagh is out for the season and there are doubts over Paul Parry and Willie Boland as both have hamstring injuries. A decision on defender Spencer Prior will be made on the day of the game.

The official Cardiff web site also reports that goalkeeper Neil Alexander will play his first game since 20 December and the City side will also feature Gary Croft, Chris Barker, Gareth Whalley, John Robertson, Andy Campbell, Gavin Gordon and Alan Lee.

Suspensions: None.
Squad (16): Ingham, Whitfield, Roberts, Carey, Lawrence, Morgan, C Edwards, P Edwards, Holmes, Ferguson, Thomas, Crowell, Llewellyn, Armstrong, L Jones, M Jones.
Other News: With Jim Whitley virtually ruled out by Denis Smith then expect Matt Crowell to replace him in the starting line-up. With the prize money at stake it is highly unlikely that there will be many changes to the starting eleven. Therefore expect Mike Ingham to continue in goal with a back three of Steve Roberts, Brian Carey and Dennis Lawrence. In midfield Matt Crowell will join Steve Thomas and Darren Ferguson who is expected to play despite taking a knock to his calf. Carlos and Paul Edwards will provide the width for Chris Armstrong and Chris Llewellyn although lee Jones will be pushing for a starting place.
WEATHER
Clear skies with a minimum temperature of 2 degrees Celsius. Northerly wind direction with a max speed of 10 mph. Moderate visibility with a relative humidity of 59%.
