Denis Smith: “I thought it was an excellent performance by our players. Cardiff tried a system which other teams have used against us, but usually Jim deals with that, when we have that problem. I changed a few things at half time and we deserved the win. Although it was the last thing we needed, playing extra time with 10-men, with the game we have on Saturday at Plymouth. As far as the club is concerned, this was a massive win financially. Thanks also to everyone who turned up, but once again, anyone who missed it, has missed out on a cracking game. That was as a good as entertainment as you are going to get!” [Source: Wrexham AFC] |
