Car Parking: The last time I visited I parked behind in a field behind the farm. The entrance is located on your left just after the right hand turning for the ground but away fans will be directed to this (the Wynnstay Farmers Car Park). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
By Train: Don't even think about it. |
By Bus: Or this! |
Away Travel Club: No details published. |
Places to Drink: The Sun Hotel in the village and the social club at the ground has a fully licensed bar. |
Places to Eat: I was impressed with the facilities in the ground and the food was a lot better quality that at league grounds. Plus the prices are reasonable. |
Cash Machines: The service station on the mile end roundabout in Oswestry. |

General: The ground consists of two stands. One stand runs down the side of the pitch opposite the TV gantry and behind one of the goals there is a 500 seater stand. Dyfed Powys Police have decided that segregation is required for the match bus as there are only two turnstiles at the recreation ground, Wrexham supporters will be directed towards the new stand behind the goal, which has 500 seats. The record crowd was 1,996 for a pre season friendly but the average league attendance is between 250-300. |
Seats and Standing: Adults £5.00, OAPs £3.00, £1 Children. |
Disabled Facilities: No specific facilities. |
Programme: £2.00 |

TEAM NEWS |
Total Network Solutions |
Wrexham |
Injuries: John Leah is out with a torn abductor muscle. | Injuries: The only injuries are Shaun Pejic and Lee Jones who are both out with hamstring trouble. |
Suspensions: Jimmy Aggrey and Gary Brabin. | Suspensions: None. |
Squad (17): Williams, Evans, Naylor, Taylor, Holmes, Ruscoe, Bridgwater, Hesketh, Davies, Hogan, King, Beck, Toner, Ward, Wood, McKenna, Wilde. | Squad (18): Dibble, Whitfield, Roberts, Carey, Lawrence, Morgan, C Edwards, P Edwards, Holmes, Ferguson, Whitley, Barrett, Thomas, Crowell, Llewellyn, Armstrong, M Jones, Sam. |
Other News: The only change for TNS is that they will have to find a replacement in central defence for Jimmy Aggrey and for Gary Brabin in midfield. | Other News: Expect Denis Smith to tinker with his starting line up to rest some of the senior players. The prime candidates are Andy Dibble to be replaced by Paul Whitfield in goal; Craig Morgan for Brian Carey in defence; Paul Barrett for Darren Ferguson in midfield; and Hector Sam for Chris Armstrong up front. Other contenders for starting are Mark Jones and possibly Matt Crowell if he recovers from the flu. Jones could replace Chris Llewellyn but is also a possible contender for a place in midfield. It is totally impossible to second guess the starting line up tomorrow so I will stop trying now! |
WEATHER |
Party cloudy with a minimum temperature of -1 degrees Celsius. North westerly wind direction with max speed of 6 mph. Visibility will be moderate with a relative humidity of 73%. |
