Denis Smith: "I thought we started in second gear, although once they scored we did start to up the pace. Second half we started well, but then we began to run out of ideas. I looked to my bench once again to see how I could change things, but as I have said before, this is a thing that is likely to catch us out, with little depth or strength. Okay what can I do? I wanted to play three up as Hector was having an off day, Mark Jones can play up there and he showed little flashes. If we can keep lads together the future’s good. Mark Jones is coming through, Craig Morgan had a super game and there’s Pej, who some people tend to forget that he’s only 20! We defended well, but we didn’t really look like scoring, although neither did they after getting their goal. They have cancelled us out and I know from the reports I have been having that they have been playing well.
