MATCH PREVIEW
THE MATCH

Wrexham Team News: Wrexham are without Craig Morgan after the defender picked up a hamstring injury that forced him out of the game at Scunthorpe on Friday. Steve Roberts replaced him during the first half and will continue in defence along with Shaun Pejic and Dennis Lawrence. There is no news on Andy Dibble's match fitness and Matt Baker is therefore expected to continue in goal. Denis Smith could tinker with the attacking options but Simon Spender and Andy Holt will remain as wing backs. Midfield and attack depend on the formation Denis Smith plays with Chris Llewellyn possibly featuring as a support man at the expense of Mark Jones, after the youngster was substituted on Friday, with a midfield of Darren Ferguson and Scott Green. That will leave the option of using two from Juan Ugarte, Chris Armstrong or Hector Sam upfront. Levi Macken has been added to the squad as cover for Craig Morgan but Wrexham are still without Brian Carey, Dean Bennett, Jim Whitley, Danny Williams and Carlos Edwards.

Wrexham Squad (16): Dibble, Baker, Pejic, Lawrence, Holt, Spender, Crowell, Green, Ferguson, Mackin, Roberts, Jones, Sam, Llewellyn, Armstrong, Ugarte.

Stockport Team News: Top scorer Warren Feeney and keeper James Spencer picked up ankle injuries against Swansea and are doubt for the game with Neil Cutler set to deputise between the sticks for Spencer. Striker Jon Daly is back following a suspension picked up on loan at Grimsby and youngsters Adam Le Fondre and Damien Allen are available after making their debuts against Walsall ten days a go.

Officials: The match referee is Nigel Miller from County Durham and he is assisted by Richard Smith from West Midlands and Neil Swarbrick from Lancashire. Nigel Miller has refereed 18 games sending off five players and issued 61 yellow cards at an average of 3.39 per game.

Weather: Partly cloudy with a minimum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius with a 3 mph south easterly wind.

The Bookies View: Wrexham are odds on favourites with the Bookies with the best price of 5/6 available at Paddy Power, Stan James, Premier Bet and The Gaming Club. Labrokes are offering 7/2 on the Stockport with vc Bet, Sporting Odds, ukBetting, Stanley Bet, Premier Bet, Total bet and Tote Sport all offering the draw at 12/5.
