PRESS CONFERENCE QUOTES
Denis Smith: "It was a frustrating game. It was a bit like cricket. It was a toss of a coin that you needed to win. We needed to have the advantage of the weather in the first-half. If we had had the wind at our backs and got the first goal then it might have been a different game. As it was they had that advantage and scored with what I think was their first attack allowing them to then sit back. This made it very difficult for them to try and break us down and what you need then is your creative players, like Carlos going past players. Unfortunately, he didn't look himself. We passed the ball about without really hurting them. Juan was unlucky with his free-kick in the first-half and second-half he possibly should have done better with his rebound off the keeper. To have as much of the play as we had in the second-half and only score one goal was frustrating but we did need players on form and Carlos for one was below par while Mark Jones, unusually for him, didn't have a shot at goal. But having said that you have to take the conditions into consideration, with the ball getting stuck under your feet was difficult for everyone. It's frustrating because while we are unbeaten in six but this includes games that we possibly should have won. The players know that they are good enough to get themselves out of the trouble that the Football League has put us in [with the ten point deduction]. We are determined to prove the League wrong by staying up." [Source: Wrexham AFC]

YOUR VIEW

Gresford Dragon: "Personally I thought we were awful. However, the wind didn't help at all. Alex Smith was given MoM - which I would say was dubious. Not too many good performances really, as we couldn't get to grips with the conditions. Also, Torquay playing with 6 at the back after they scored (which you can't blame them for) didn't help us. In the end I'm pleased with a point - purely 'cos we didn't look like scoring all game."

Glory Hunter: "Poor attendance, poor-ish performance, awful conditions for good football. Once Torquay defended deep in second half our lightweight forwards never looked like scoring. Why not move big Denis upfront, he had very little to do at the back and may just have caused something to happen upfront. Carlos looked like he'd had a trip too far, Llewellyn kept giving the ball away. Alex Smith did well instead of Holty though. Good goal by Juan too."

daniel87: "I thought the midfield sat to deep today we need to start pushing forward and having shots in as we do not get enough of them."
Number6: "We looked for long like periods like a team who were not expecting to win. I couldn't believe how much 2nd half possession we had and yet create so little chances for the front two. It wasn't until Williams hit a screamer from 20 yards that we thought we could get a result, Nearly knocked their keeper over. Juan Ugarte's goal- If Rooney had scored it they'd be showing it on telly for weeks-what a strike. If you left early tough!"
St Asaph Red: "Midfield under performed hugely - Fergy, Williams and Jones were all hugely disappointing. Constantly gave the ball away for no reason, went sideways and backwards when in possession, were always second to 50/50's etc etc."
