PRESS CONFERENCE QUOTES

Denis Smith: "If you had watched me on the sidelines, you would have seen that I was confident that my players would pull the game back. I really did think we would win the tie and, happily, we did just that. It's all about winning at the moment and it was important that we made it through to the final. Not that the weekend's events and the after game party on Sunday night were exactly the right preparation for this match, but in the end I thought we handled it well. Ben Foster might have cost us with the first goal, but he also made some great saves. Bangor hit us well in the break and I did think that some of our young lads were looking a little leg weary. They caused us problems with those long throws, but we did deal with it. It's great to be in another final, but we have to keep winning games in the league now. Which was why I rested a few players and was delighted not to have to cope with another period of extra time. Maybe we can count ourselves lucky to have got through, but we did win!"
