Denis Smith: "First-half I thought that generally we were in control and I was pleased with our performance. Second-half was a little bit different and we looked like a team that hadn't played for a couple of weeks. We ran out of energy - we ran out of legs! We looked a poor team in the second-half and that's disappointing because we are better than that. We didn't pass well enough and as a team we didn't squeeze them. It didn't help losing two players so early in the match. This limited my options especially in the second-half when I could have done with some defensive help. The way we were defending in the second-half I need to do something about it. That was frustrating but in the end I think we were very fortunate to even get a point. That wasn't the way that things were looking at half-time when I thought that we might get a second, and had we stuck away one of our chance at that stage then the game would have been comfortable. When you have as many chances as we did then you have to be looking to put them away. We also have to defend a little bit better than we did in the second-half but when you lose somebody like Brian (Carey) then its hard to replace him. You will notice that there was a big gap in the middle that he tends to close up and squeeze people. Dennis does try. In the system we play you need the central defender to do that and close down the chances. If we are going to lose Brian for a few games, which looks possible, then that's something we will have to work on. Both he and Jim will be struggling as their injuries are not good, Brian with a recurrence of sprained knee and Jim pulling a muscle in his thigh.
