PRESS CONFERENCE QUOTES

Denis Smith: "They are all like cup games at the moment and we've got to get to the end to grab the prize. We played well tonight and deserved the win, which was great because people turned up looking to bury us. It was a good all round performance and the midfield worked hard, particularly Matty Crowell. The front two also looked like scoring which was very pleasing. I didn't think 2-0 was a scoreline that flattered us at all. Having been nice to the players at half-time on Saturday [when we ended up losing], I was not so nice to them tonight!  The goalkeeper was once again quality and he is very important to us at the moment. It was good to see Holtie scoring again, but we also expect goals from Carlos Edwards, who is flying past defenders at the moment. So I'm surprised that he hasn't scored since returning to the side. We are waiting for the next important one now, as we've got to win the remaining three games. Saturday is the quarter final if you like and if the other sides who are fighting to stay up don't get the results that they need, it's going to be an interesting last week." [Source: Wrexham AFC]

Martin Foyle: "I have made six changes and one or two will want to press their claims for a new contract but we are not good enough and I'll be going to speak to the chairman to discuss it. We may be safe but I'm not happy just to be safe. I wanted to be higher up the table but it's a learning curve for us and we know we need better players." [Source: The Senitel]
