Wrexham v

Notts County

Saturday 10 December 2005

Kick Off @ 15:00

The Magpies

Gudjon ThordarsonCounty manager Gudjon Thordarson was cursing defensive errors following the midweek defeat at Peterborough. "Individual errors cost us again, just when I thought we'd ironed them out. We're making too many errors which are costing us and although the pitch didn't help, we can't blame that or the referee.

"We found ourselves behind on the stroke of half-time after a bad set of mistakes at the back. And when the second went in, we made so many mistakes, it was just sloppy to concede a goal like that," Thordarson explained to the official site.

Thordarson has strengthened his attacking options with the loan signing of Chesterfield's Mark DeBolla and the former Charlton player has already opening his account with the Magpies. Midfielder Liam Needham has signed on non-contract terms from Sheffield Wednesday but leaving Meadow Lane on loan are out of favour winger Tony Scully and midfielder Chibuzor Chilakia to Exeter and Hinkley United respectively.

County's top scorer is Glynn Hurst with the former Chesterfield striker finding the net on nine occasions this season although he has only scored once in the last six games.
