The O's

Martin Ling: Delighted
Orient manager Martin Ling for delighted with the performance of his strikers in the 3-2 London derby win at Barnet. The O's got off to the worse possible start when Barnet opened the scoring after only 14 seconds but goals from Jabo Ibehre and a brace from Gary Alexander secured all three points for the men from Brisbane Road.

"Any manager in this league would take Gary Alexander - he's proved class and he will have the last laugh because quality players do, Ling said.

"And having Jabo Ibehre back is like having a new player - I was tempted to put him on the bench last week but the expectation levels on him are high and I wanted to make sure he was ready.

Ling has been in charge at the Matchroom Stadium for two years, after finishing his playing career with the club, and is his first role in management with Orient seeing a gradual improvements in league positions during his tenure in charge.

The main threat from Orient will be striker Gary Alexander who has three goals to his name this season but the O's are spreading the goals around the team with a total of nine different goal scorers already this season.

Form Guide

Wrexham: LDLLDWWL Orient: WWLLDLLW
Orient started the season on fire wining their first three games against Macclesfield, Bury and Darlington to take them to the top of the table but they came down to earth with a bump following a 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Rochdale. This started a run of five games without victory and included further defeats against Luton in the cup and Shrewsbury and Bristol Rovers in the League with a point picked up at Cheltenham after Orient conceded a last minute equaliser. The bad run of form ended with the victory over Barnet last weekend but three of Orient's four victories have come away from Brisbane Road with their only home victory coming on the opening day of the season against Macclesfield courtesy of a last minute winner.

After a spell of five games without a win, and four without scoring, Wrexham finally found some form with back to back victories over Barnet and Cheltenham at home but their away form is a problem with Wrexham failing to win on their travels so far this season. In midweek they lost their game in hand, going down 2-0 at Lincoln.
