TEAMtalk today reports in the story "Brammer switch latest" that speculation surrounding the future of ex-Wrexham midfielder Dave Brammer continues today with the news that Crewe boss Dario Gradi has renewed his interest in the 26-year-old Port Vale star.

TEAMtalk reports that the Bromborough-born battler is mulling over an offer from The Railwaymen after turning down a bid from Gradi last week.

Brammer increased speculation that a move was imminent after he didn't show up for Friday night's friendly between Port Vale and Crewe, and Gradi has this weekend confirmed that talks have taken place between The Railwaymen and Brammer's agent.

TEAMtalk reports that Brammer trained with the rest of the Port Vale squad this morning and quotes Valiants boss Brian Horton as saying today: "We'll have to wait and see what happens with Dave Brammer. He trained this morning but we're waiting on his decision".

It's thought that Wrexham will get 10% of any transfer fee involved.

In other news today, ex-Wrexham defender Phil Hardy has resumed training for new club Port Vale, after the former Reds left-back limped out of Vale's friendly with Blackburn a week ago with a pulled hamstring.

However, Hardy is reportedly on the mend and should be fit for this weekend.
