Chairman dismisses retirement rumours

Club Chairman Pryce Griffiths

Tonight's Evening Leader in the story "Staying on" reports that Club Chairman Pryce Griffiths has today quashed rumours that he's about to retire.

The Leader quotes the Robins Chairman as saying: "I know there's all sorts of talk about me standing down as chairman but they’re untrue. I’ve been a director of the club for something like 25 years and I believe I’m one of the longest-serving chairman in the Football League. I’ve said all along if the right person comes in with the right price they can take over the club. I would think it’s got to be worth somewhere in the region of £2 million or so. But the current rumours of me being ready to stand aside are completely untrue".
