Ridler receives five match ban

The RobinsNews news service today reports in the story "Suspension starts" that Robins defender Dave Ridler has lost his appeal against his sending off during the Bury game last week.

RobinsNews reports that Liverpool-born Ridler has been served with a five match suspension, starting with the Reds trip to Port Vale next Tuesday.

The 25-year-old will next be available for selection for Wrexham's trip to the Vetch Field to play Swansea City on April 24th.

FAW Premier Cup draw

The official FAW Premier Cup web site yesterday reported that Wrexham have drawn Barry Town or Total Network Solutions in the semi-finals of this year's FAW Premier Cup.

In the story "Nationwide League teams kept apart" the official FAW Premier Cup web site states:

"The draw for the semi-final stage of this year's competition was made earlier today as follows: 

Merthyr Tydfil v Swansea City 
Barry Town or Total Network Solutions v Wrexham 

These matches will be played on dates yet to be agreed".
