Mark GutermanA FINANCIAL crisis could be looming at Wrexham after it was revealed that the club's players had only been paid half of their November wages.

At the start of the season Red Dragons chairman Mark Guterman said that average crowds of 7,000 were required for the club to break even, but recent attendances have been less than half that figure.

The players were told about the shortfall before Saturday's Nationwide Division Two clash at Brighton, when they were promised that the rest of their wages would be paid by mid-December.

It has also been confirmed that wages were paid late in October.
