Mark GutermanTHE PFA have said they will keep an eye on the cash crisis at Wrexham which has seen players given less than half their wages.

Red Dragons stars such as Darren Ferguson, Lee Jones and Chris Armstrong were told last week they will only be receiving half of their monthly salary for November with some players complaining the amount would only just cover their bills.

And though the players and staff affected were promised they would get the remainder of their pay before the end of next month, a spokesperson for the fooballers union vowed to monitor the worrying situation.

"One of our representatives is in Wrexham now" said the spokesman "As long as the club sticks to their word of paying the rest of the money, there shouldn't be a problem."

But a spokesperson for one Racecourse star said "The club have given them just enough to pay the bills. And to tell them before they travelled to all the way to Brighton was wrong."
