Juan UgarteCONFERENCE South side Dorchester hope the chance of a trial with Bournemouth will tempt Spanish striker Juan Ugarte back from his stint at Wrexham.

Ugarte, 23, left the Magpies for the Racecourse a month ago but is yet to earn a permanent deal in Wales.

Now Dorchester boss Mark Morris has arranged for him to train full-time with the Cherries for a month.

"He could then continue playing for us so we hope that might entice him back," Dorchester chairman Eddie Belt said.

Ugarte scored six goals in seven games for Dorchester earlier this season, and they have struggled to replace him.

He spent three years at Real Sociedad and was top scorer for Spanish Second Division side Barakaldo last season.

Belt told the Dorset Echo: "I know he is desperate to get a full-time contract and that he will probably still be looking elsewhere even if he does come back to us.

"But I would have thought coming back and banging in a few goals for us, as he was doing before he went to Wrexham, would be as good a way as any of attracting attention."
