Wrexham
defender Andy Holt has claimed his side have "no-one to fear" as they prepare
for a busy Christmas programme - starting with the visit of Rochdale.
The Dragons are eighth in League Two, one place below their Boxing Day guests,
and good results against Dale, Chester, Grimsby and Shrewsbury could transform
Wrexham's season.
But Holt felt the 2-1 defeat at Carlisle exposed the team's weaknesses and told
the club's official website: "There's absolutely no-one to fear at this level.
We consistently look good and play well, but we seem to never go two goals
clear, or get to a point where we're comfortable enough for us to relax.
"It seems that whenever we go one-nil up our backs are to the wall and teams
like Carlisle just come bombing on until we can't contain them.
"It's so tight at the top of the table that every game is massive. Look at the
Carlisle game: if we'd held onto our lead we could have gone into equal third
place behind them and had the same goal difference.
"But that's gone and when you lose it's important to move on, get back on the
training ground to work on the things that arise from the game and concentrate
on the next match."
