A BUILDING firm has backed Wrexham FC by unveiling a new increased two-year sponsorship deal.

Eric Roberts has sponsored the away stand at The Racecourse for a number of years and has also supported the club in other ways through various sponsorships.

Now the company has backed the club by increasing its commitment by unveiling a new deal which is part of the new regime of making Wrexham more financially stable with many other commercial activities to follow.

Anthony Fairclough, the club’s chief executive, said: “This is testament to the support not only shown by the person who buys a ticket for the ground but a business which shows its support and passion for a new stable future.

“I would urge any other businesses in North Wales to follow suit and see what Wrexham FC can offer. People have stayed away with the uncertainty, but now we have a fresh start and it is time to move on together.”

The five-figure deal was agreed fresh from the club coming out of administration and will provide much needed funds.
