LITTLE is hoping Wrexham Juan Ugarte can come back into the reckoning as soon as
possible to add another dimension to his strike force.
Little admitted to knowing a lot of Ugarte and added he hoped to have in back in
training to add another goal threat.
“He has to start training with us first of all,” said Little. “At the moment he
is not training with the first team and we are just waiting for the medical
staff to say when he will be ready to return to us.
“But I know all about Juan. If he is fully fit then he can be a brilliant player
and I would be more than happy to have him in the squad, because he is someone
who can always score you goals.
“I’ve spoke to him a couple of times and I’ve had a few one on ones with him and
we are just hoping he can be back soon.”
Ugarte is expected back in training within the next week to ten days all being
well according to club physio Mel Pejic, who has been working hard to find a
rehab course for the Spaniard.
“We are doing quite a lot of rehab with Juan at the moment,” said Pejic. “He is
still a couple of weeks away from being back in training and he is due to see a
consultant next week.
“He is working hard to get back, but it has been frustrating for him.”
