How to get there…
The Racecourse is easy accessible just off the A483 Wrexham by pass and this is linked by the A5 if approaching from the south and by the M56 and then the M53 if travelling from the north of the country. If travelling by train then Wrexham General is located next to the ground with the station served by the main Chester – Birmingham line and there is also and hourly service with Liverpool.
Travelling from the North: Follow the M56 towards Chester leaving at junction 15 to join the M53 southbound. After a few miles the M53 becomes the A55 and leave this road at the junction with the A483 turning left towards Wrexham. Leave the A483 at the junction with the A541 and turn left at the roundabout and then straight over the next and the ground will be ahead of you on your left hand side.
Travelling from the South: Follow the M54 and then the A5 past Shrewsbury and Oswestry and pick up the A483 towards Wrexham. Leave the A483 at the junction with the A541 and turn right at the roundabout and then straight over the next and the ground will be ahead of you on your left hand side.
Speed Cameras: It is common to find an Arrive Alive van or police cars patrolling the A483 and A5, so watch your speed on your approach to Wrexham. There is also a fixed camera located on Mold Road as you approach the Racecourse.
Travelling by Train: The nearest train station is Wrexham General, which is no more than a two-minute walk from the ground. Turn right out of the station and climb the steps before turning right and heading back over the bridge and towards the ground. The two centre is only a five minute walk and is found by turning left out of the station car park and following the road through two sets of lights and you will be in the town centre.
Travelling by Bus: Wrexham Bus Station is only a five minute walk from the ground and is found by walking towards the multi storey car park and turn right at to the end of this road. Then walk through the set of lights and the ground will be ahead of you just past Wrexham General Train Station after just under a mile.
