Are the student flat's days numbered?

For now it would make sense to make the stadium a complete oval, try to reorganise the internals and add a level on all sides if and where possible. Need to get shifting with it given we could make it to the championship sooner than planned.

Moving from Cae Ras is not a good option and would be detrimental to the whole regeneration of the town project.

Working with council/network rail/uni etc and enclosing the stadium is best short term option. If we make the championship we would have to stick there for a good few years to get stadium to premiership standards.

Humphrey highlighted the investment conundrum stating b2b2b is a blessing and a bit of a curse given the scale up and infrastructure upgrades required.

We need to stay up is priority number one...Victims of our own success at the moment and Rome was not built in a day either...!

University (erm the tech)!like all in wales and uk need cash with declining demand and many will need to merge so space options will probably occur there also.

Anyway stress not far smarter people that us working this out....enjoy the journey.
Not stressed, just having a discussion about it with our ideas, maybe someone will read them and think that will work or maybe not.

In this mock-up they have taken out the Bidston platform and tracks that leaves Wrexham General with only 2 platforms. They have also moved Crispin Lane to be flush with the back of the Kop to create the land you are talking about.
I was more thinking the indicated buildings to the North of the station. That land is of a decent width if you put the boundary directly next to the Bidston line:

Just compare the width of the existing flats with that land - a series of blocks there could be double or triple the residences of the existing ones. Leave a gate for NR access like Premier Inn did and everyone's happy.

The only thing that could scupper this is that this might actually be what's left of Wat's dyke - in which case nobody is building anything there.

tried to cut and paste and keep the residences the same scale. this looks viable to me.

Why couldn’t the ‘new’ flats be built on the current car park area behind the Tech End on existing Uni land with car parking being built to serve both uni and train station on land nearer the existing station currently owned by network rail? Would be better for the uni to keep the students closer to the campus whilst car parking facilities would be an easier sell for redevelopment of the station area using government funding to regenerate the town (where parking is at a premium).

How about underground parking below the 'new' flats?

just to look at as we wait for tomorrow. here's the total area the club could potentially develop if they can secure it all and demo the student flats. do you move the pitch entirely? lights are already in, turf not moving. hmmmm.

Think bigger - the master plan area is way bigger than that
