With this little mini break would be a good time to fly the team out somewhere hot , bit of training, bit of resting, great way to prepare for 2nd half of season

They'd probably have to be back in the country Monday, can't see the point.

Be more beneficial to give them time off to rest and spend with their families after a busy Christmas and New Year period. Give them until Friday off, light training Friday and Saturday, off Sunday then back to work from Monday.
