Birmingham Woe.1-3

Not sure this post is a wise move. Soft lad:

What? He’s making a joke. Any of us would have been pissed off had someone do what they did to him, especially with how many times they had manhandled him up til then with the ref allowing it to happen. Maybe even enough to be enticed to take a nibble kinda like players pinch and scratch in a pile in American football or I’d assume rugby. It’s not even remotely a big deal and at most, is amusing.

True, but there are a lot of other clubs that have ended up getting relegated to non league oblivion who never visited the top division, or even dreamed of doing so.
Be careful what you wish for is an excellent cautionary phrase to be used to exercise caution but not to discourage dreaming and planning, Indeed we should learn from what those clubs did wrong.
We should also look to clubs like Brentford and even Swansea and ask what they did right.
Could say Bournemouth too... even when they went down from the Prem after a 5 season spell they found their way to get back up again and stay there.

To think the season after we lost our league status they very nearly joined us in non-league purgatory.

Luis Suarez history doesn't help that argument.

Went with little expectation that we would come away with the points, as let's be honest, they have a championship squad and were deserved winners. I was disappointed with aspects of our performance, our ball retention was poor and we weren't aggressive enough in our play. However, we should character as at one point that looked like it would be 5 or 6. Overall a great start to the season.

We beat Crawley on Saturday. Three points that will define our season more than Monday night. Not a chance will Colonel D's post reaction thread achieve any more than 20 pages.

At worst, we'll be in league one next season. Still unbelievable given where we were 4 years ago. Chill.

Don't underestimate Crawley.

It probably will if we don’t win.
