Parky revealed in today's Leader that Brunt had a stomach bug and was being kept away from the team to avoid others catching it. Explains why he wasn't on the bench.

It's like people must spend, who have money in their pocket, burning a hole.

It's the downside of having a squad of 25+, with only 11/16 places in the league. We can now afford to carry a big squad and need to, to challenge the likes of B'ham and Bolton.

Unlike most of our history, we are no longer in a position, where we need sell players, usually our best prospects, to try and balance the books or keep the creditors at bay.

Despite some players not getting a look in, I guess they are being well paid and knew what they were signing up to when they chose Wxm.

As for Brunt, his time will come and if he takes his chance, another quality player will be left out, providing healthy competetition.

We ain't taking TOC out, he's arguably our most underrated player.

Our form nosedived when he was injured last Jan / Feb.

from what I was tracking last season, we scored more goals when he was in than when Boyle was in. defense was excellent with both.
