Worth reminding the doomsayers on here that when Foster retired last year that we had a few renditions of ”Super Mark Howard in goal” from the singing section.

He is obviously past his peak and nowhere near the standard of the other two but we really need to get behind him right now.

If he concedes then it is what it is but what else can we do! Same with Marriott being out.

In all seriousness, he was such a great performer and all around team guy at that North Carolina tournament - they constantly would just throw a microphone in his face for comment, just decided I was always going to appreciate Chomp. Or as his teammates call him on the socials - Chompasaurus.

Weird relationship between Chomp and the supporters. Watching highlights from around League 1 this season, I've seen all manner of nonsense; goals given away passing out from the back, throwing it straight to Alfie May, dropping clangers, etc etc.

Chomp might not be making worldies, but I trust him to keep it simple, make the routine saves, and knock it into row Z when needed.

Keep working the phones for a top keeper, sure, but the house isn't on fire.

Matt Waters has been seen in Wrexham for the past few weeks. He was in the fanzone when they filmed fanzone live with Mark, Mia and Andy. He was wearing his wrexham jacket that he used to wear. Maybe Everton didn't work out.

Yeah Foster is only signed on a two month deal, I don’t know if that means Burton will be out a few weeks, or longer and Foster is just a patch till the transfer window begins
