I do rate Armstrong. He seems to be having a poor season, but the circumstances around deadline day can't have helped him much. If we do finally bring him in I do think he improves our squad depth. 500k seemed on the high side though, would be even more over the top in Jan.

Fletcher is a massive bonus. He's much better than I thought he'd be. I assumed he'd be half the player he used to be, and he's far better than that.

If we are buying similar in Jan think we would get better value for our buck with someone else even though the fees are normally higher then.

I agree, also looks a real aerial threat along with the pace and power. I’ve not seen anyone else who is likely to be available, regardless of the £ who can bring that. We can sign this lad on Jan 1st.
